Rooftop signs

Overview

A rooftop sign is visible from far away and becomes a landmark for the whole neighborhood. The structure consists of a steel supporting frame fixed to the roof or the building’s load-bearing elements, plus large dimensional letters or a logo. The letters are usually internally lit, and service platforms and access to the wiring are built in for maintenance.

We survey the roof, calculate wind and snow loads, develop the design, then produce and install the structure with work-at-height crews. Rooftop placement usually requires approval under local rules and the building owner’s consent. Start by checking these conditions, since they determine the permitted size and fixing method.
