Overview
A base holds a flagpole upright without fixing it to the floor or ground. Indoors, weighted metal bases with a decorative finish are common; for exhibitions and outdoor use, there are plastic bases filled with water or sand and cross bases with added weight. Models come with a single socket or with sockets for two poles.
We choose a base to match the pole height, flag size and site conditions, and we check that the socket diameter fits the pole. A tip: outdoors, choose a water-filled base and fill it completely; an empty or half-filled tank will not hold the flag in gusty wind.
